Ferris Wheel Art Project For Kids
Weekly Wednesday class was a fun one!
We did a Ferris Wheel art project.
We started out with our Ferris wheel template and then drew in all of our
lines with a ruler.
We gave our Ferris wheel all kinds of details and traced with sharpie before painting
with tempera paint.
Our final steps were cutting out Ferris wheel chairs, adding people and
polka dots.

Ferris Wheel Art Project
I always enjoy teaching art... but there are projects
that come along
that
make me
GIDDY!!!
This is one of those projects!!!
I love ferris wheels... and I thought the Creative Kids would love this project!
I was inspired when I found a circus themed pad of scrapbook paper!
We drew our ferris wheel and then outlined our project with sharpie. We then painted with tempera paint, sponged on a polka dot sky and added paper chairs!
Want to go for a ride?
I SURE DO!!!
Perspective Aquarium Art Project
This ~Creative Kids~ art project was done with 2nd and 3rd grade students.
I love how they turned out!
We used sharpies to trace over our pencil lines... painted with liquid watercolor and then added
our aquarium friends and aquarium visitors last.

Elephant Drawing and Tempera Paint
Weekly Wednesdays
We drew the elephants, outlined them with sharpie and painted with tempera paint.
After painting, the girls came back in with black tempera to freshen up their lines where
they painted over them.
I think they turned out great!
I found the drawing instruction on a blog called Art Projects For Kids!

Knight & Dragon Drawings
Mitch has a friend who is writing a story and he wanted Mitch to come up with
a couple drawings of what the characters in his story might look like.
This is the character that Mitch
plays in the story that his friend is writing.
So, that must be the dragon that he faces in the story!?!? I have to say... this makes me a little nervous! :-)
(once a mother... always a mother!!!)
I love looking at Mitchell's drawings... he just turned 14
and has been drawing since
he could hold a pencil!

Elephant Art
Brett & Luke worked on an elephant art project today.
Brett told us about his missionary trip to Africa and getting to see wild elephants.
His story made our project even more fun!
