I wanted to tell you about a very special little girl.
I've known Emily since she was 5 years old.
Emily has struggled with severe shyness her whole, young life.
Emily, now 10, was given the promise of a private art lesson if she was able to do an
oral presentation for her teacher at school.
Well, this little girl overcame her shyness and did it!
She picked a Mountain Waterfall with a Flowery Meadow painting to
celebrate her accomplishment.
I am so proud of Emily and I think she did a fantastic job on her painting!
I'm looking forward to Emily being my art helper this summer!
She wants to keep working hard and painting!
On a personal note, I am so honored that my art classes are an incentive for her to
work hard to overcome her shyness.
